Dismissed DWI part 1. Arrested for broken tail light
So I decide to take 281, and get off on Cage, which is a big mistake, because Cage is always crawling with Pharr PD, and as most people know, Pharr PD are Ass Holes. So I go on taking Cage, and a cop starts tail gating me. We go on a couple of miles, and pissed off, I decide to park my car, and get that stupid cop of my tail. Well I put on the right blinker, but since the front side of the car was crashed, and the front blinking light gone, it starts blinking all weird. So the Cop pulls me over for a broken tail light. He asks me for my insurance and license pretty calm like, but once he smells the alcohol, he gets all dick and everything. Well he does the pen light test on me, and I pass. He then tries to do the field sobriety tests, but I tell him I dont have the balance to do those tests, so he tells me that I have to go to the court house for a breathalyzer test. My friend Paco had advised me not to blow, because if you dont, then they dont really have any evidence against you. So I refused the test, and have to spend the night in the courthouse. Well this is pretty much how it happened. You can read on the next if you like, I will talk about what happened in the courthouse and county. I want to thank my lawyer for helping me out, and my friend Paco, who told me not to blow. If you need a lawyer, this one was pretty good, got my case dismissed.

Dismissed DWI part 2. yail and county
As most of you know, I got arrested for a DWI last year, 2 days before St. Patricks Day. To hear the story of how it happened, read the first DWI blog. Well this is what happened next I refused the test, and so I had to spend the night in the courthouse. I always had a reason why I couldnt do a certain test. First the penlight test, which I did take, but had it gone to court, I have glasses, and my vision isnt that good. Plus they did it with my glasses on, and their supposed to do it with your glasses off. The field test, I didnt do, because I have no balance for them. Which was just bs, but oh well it works. The breathalyzer test was because I heard that those tests arent always accurate, and something like using Listerine will make those tests come out wrong. I guess if I was a bit more sober, I would have asked for the blood test, which you can do, and since it take a while, youll have some time to sober up. So I spend that morning there, in a cell with no seats, just a concrete indention 3 inches off the ground, but I had enough alcohol in me not to notice it too much. I wake up in the afternoon, and go to see the judge, who puts my bail at $2,000, or $2,500, I forget which. I call my fraternity brothers, and parents, and explain to them that they have to pay 10%, so 200 if bail was 2,000, for a bail bond. I get transferred into county after that, and spend the night there. Well it took my parents a while to find out where I was out, due to the fact that Pharr PD if full of a bunch of Ass Holes, and couldnt tell my parents that I had already been transferred to County. Well County sucks. You just sit there doing nothing for the longest time at the front. Youre in a cell with 0-12 people at a time, and you just wait to be finger printed, and stuff. So Im there just talking to the other inmates and waiting till I got bailed out. They eventually decided to take us to the back. The first step is they give you a shower, and take your clothes and belongings, and put them in a bag. They then give you these nasty orange scrubs to wear, as well as a white shirt, and a pair of briefs, which have obviously been worn by someone else before. Its truly disgusting. Well you go to the back and are just there. It sucked, because it was the weekend, and basically I got lucky enough to be bailed out at the last second. Well since it was about to be the weekend, everyone takes off, so on Friday at 8pm, if youre not out, you stay the whole weekend. Which looked like it was going to happen, since it got till 802, and I was still there. Lucky enough, I had been bailed out, I just didnt know it. So I was like crap Im here the whole weekend this sucks! However at 8:05, a guard asks for me, and tells me I made bail. So they take me to the front again, and Im put in a room similar to the one I was when I came in. I was there with one other lucky individual whom also had just being bailed out, and it must have taken them an hr to Finnish all the paperwork and stuff. So thats what happened to me, theres one more part if youre really interested, but its not as good as the first two, so if this wasnt interesting, the next part wont be either. Once again, I want to thank my friend Paco, and my lawyer for helping me out

Dissmissed DWI part 3. Court system
As most of you know, I got arrested for a DWI last year, 2 days before St. Patricks Day. Well this is how the trial or dismissal went Ok, so Im out of county and stuff, and this letter comes in. Its the lawyer I chose to have represented me. It asks if I need a lawyer, and I say yes. I pay him the $500 retainer, and owe him $1,500 for the rest. Which is fine, because it costs $3,000 to get your license back if convicted. So I get a court date a couple of months later, and my lawyer goes and pleads not guilty as I had previously asked. So a few months later, I get my first court appearance, except that it was set for trial, and my lawyer had asked for a suppression hearing, so it gets rescheduled. So I get another date, but it gets rescheduled again, and then two more times. My lawyer tells me since I didnt blow, or do the tests, unless I look blatantly drunk on the tape, which isnt always on, they had no case. So eventually I got my suppression hearing, and there was no evidence, so the case was dismissed. So now I just got to get my license back, which was suspended, and unfortunately with my luck, has expired during the suspension. So in summation, dont get caught drinking and driving, but it you do, refuse the tests, and get a good lawyer, like the one I had. He was pretty good the whole time, so I definitely recommend him. Heres his card, incase you ever need it. Hopefully you wont.
